CHINAPLAS remains most-awaited trade exhibition in Asia

The latest issue of International Plastics News for Asia features a Special Supplement on CHINAPLAS 2016. Now on its 30th edition, CHINAPLAS 2016 in Shanghai features 3300+ exhibitors from various parts of the world. These exhibitors demonstrate their latest technologies, materials and services to the anticipated 140,000 visitors. With the size and diversity of this mega exhibition, it is no surprise that CHINAPLAS is now the world's no. 2 trade show and Asia's no. 1 for the plastics industry.

The show also houses various country pavilions coming from 13 countries and regions, namely Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, People’s Republic of China, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States.

Over 3,800 units of machinery equipment and a wide range of plastics and rubber materials are demonstrated on the show floor. As an important venue for the launch of new products, over 800 exhibitors are set to introduce technologies which are applied in the building and construction industry. With Industry 4.0 sweeping the industrial world, the Asia Pacific region is moving toward smart manufacturing and this presents excellent opportunities for those offering advanced technologies and processes.

CHINAPLAS 2016 has scheduled the  "Industry 4.0 Conference" where many of German leading enterprises in automated machinery and equipment are set to participate in the forum and discuss topics based on Industry 4.0, varying from the fundamental concepts to the practical engineering.
